So you've found one of our tags!
Well done, you're a nice person. Really, we mean that. You could have just binned the item with its tag and walked on.
Instead you made the first step to finding out who it belongs to.
So what happens now then?
Step 1
You need to scan the QR code (square barcody thing) on the tag and as our codes are location aware (with permission) an email is sent to the owner telling them their item has been scanned.
Step 2
You'll be asked to fill in your Name and Email Address, so we can send some contact details to the owner. Then they can arrange for the item to be returned. You can even leave them a short message as well. There's a tick box to join our rewards programme, if you wish, so that our partners can send you offers or discounts as way of thanking you for doing the right thing.
Step 3
Sit back and relax. You've earned your karma cupcake! That warm & fuzzy feeling is what being a decent person feels like.
Don't forget to check your email to see if they've responded to you, maybe they'll buy you a pint, or some flowers? You never know!

How do I scan a Tag? I'm not a Nerd!To scan QR codes, you will first need to have some QR scanning software on your mobile phone, it's very easy and can come in handy for other uses as well.
